The realm of Aguilar, famed for its many rivers, lakes, and
waterways is the center of life for a great many of the Inner
Realms of Valimoor. The citizens of Aguilar maintain the
many waterways that conduct the precious, life-giving liquid
to the Inner Realms. They clean out debris, keep the dams
operational, and generally keep the water flowing.

Aguilar is mostly flat plainsland, with only a few lowset hills
and one actual mountain. Forestland also abounds, though
in sparse patches between great roaming plains.

The capital of Aguilar is the port-city of Aguilaine, which
also contains the High Seat, which is as close to a Royal
House as the Aguilarians get. The current occupant of the
High Seat is one Genivere Estulane.

Primary exports from Aguilar, beyond the provision of
water to those countries that need it, are typical water-borne
industries such as fisheries, shipwrighting, and kelp
harvesting. It is also home to one of the major ports for
the surrounding area of Valimoor, therefore it offers much
in the way of sea-going transport to other major ports on
other continents, such as Portalis in Oridosha.

Aguilar not only prides itself on its water resources, but
also on being the country closest to the Heart of the Pheonix,
which is the major religious symbol for this part of Valimoor.
Along with its own religious orders, it contains a Knighthood
as well as a major magical Order.
