In-Character Gaming Rules
- All races are permissible, with the exception of demons,
deities, demi-gods and other "immortal" character types.
Permission can be obtained to play such characters by
contacting Lady Genivere or the Amaranthine Circle.
- All classes are permissable, though knighthoods, clergy
and other Order-oriented classes are asked to remain
within the predefined orders available within Kayrith.
Again, other arrangements can be made by contacting
Lady Genivere or the Amarantine Circle
- In-Chat Combat must utilize the Dicebot for all initiatives.
If the Attacking Character rolls higher than the Defending
Character, then s/he may take the first step to instigating
a battle, such as stepping toward the target, or drawing
a weapon upon the target. If the Defending Character
wins the initiative, then s/he may notice the Attacker
and prepare for the battle.
- Godmoding or Powergaming will not be permitted
at any time, be it in the chats or on the boards. A
Player may not control the Character of another
Player for any reason, unless the Player of the
affected Character has agreed beforehand. This
includes, but is not limited to: possession, death, or
other non-negotiable instances.
Out of Character Conduct
- Harassment, debasement or otherwise being
toward any other Player in Kayrith will result in the
immediate removal of the offender (upon substantial
proof of wrong-doing).
- Profanity and vulgarity, adult situations and other
explicit material is acceptable in Kayrith only in
closed and private forums. It is not permitted within
the public playing fields, this includes, but is not
limited to: the boards, any and all chatrooms,
and other forms of public forums here on Kayrith.
- Flames and derogatory commentary directed at
this site or any other within it's knowledge area is
unacceptable. While your opinions are respected
such devaluing commentary provides no true purpose,
therefore it is humbly asked that such be kept to oneself.
You can see that our rules are not many, and they are
meant to be as such to maximize your playing ability without
fear of restraint. However, do not abuse this leniency and
keep yourself abreast of any changes made to the rules.
It will be the Player's own responsibility to keep track of the
changes to these few guidelines.
In the event you should fall under scrutiny for violation of
one of these rules, leniency will not be granted to those who
"didn't know". Keep yourself updated, for any punishment
dealt will be according to the rules as they are, not as
you
last read or remember them.
